Compassionate Parenting and The Power of Nurturing Touch (CPTPNT)

This groundbreaking course utilizes compassionate communication and re-enforcing nurturing touch to produce deep emotional connections among family members that span a life time.

The program combines the cooperation and emotional regulation techniques from Dr. Stosny’s Compassionate Parenting program with the development and attachment-through-nurturing-touch techniques from IAIM®/WINC™’s Nurturing Touch program.

CPTPNT presents educational and behavioral practice tailored to parents, caretakers and professionals. The program consists of various models ranging from 8-week sessions of 2-hour classes to intensive weekend courses.

Core Techniques:

1. Employ Dr. Steven Stosny's acclaimed HEALS™ technique for emotional regulation to reduce anxiety, resentment and anger.

2. Deepen emotional intelligence for parents and children through empowering discipline that helps children achieve optimal growth and develops cooperation skills and moral courage.

3. Guide child behavior to reach the fullest potential and develop the 5 R's for successful living: Resourcefulness, Responsibility, Respect, Relationship investment, Regulation of impulses and emotions.

4. Teach parents the emotional and physical benefits of touch for the various stages of child development with the application of IAIM®/WINC™ Nurturing Touch Massage Routine.

5. Provide practical instruction on a variety of relaxation and bonding techniques from IAIM®/WINC™ to further connect with children through the power of nurturing touch.
